Submit a Protein


If you'd like suggest one or more proteins of experimentally verified subcellular localization for incorporation into ePSORTdb, please complete the submission form below. Alternatively, send an email with the necessary information to psort-mail@sfu.ca. Your submission is subject to manual review before it is incorporated into the dataset.

Please provide the following information with your submission:

  • Protein name
  • Accession number (mandatory so that we can upload its sequence)
  • Database source
  • GI of NCBI (if available)
  • Gene name
  • Experimental SCL (if possible, use our terminology)
  • Literature references (PubMed identifier or Textbook reference)
